Ten years ago, on March 25, 2014, “ASI AVIATION” (a 100% subsidiary of ASI INNOVATION) was born, the fruit of the boldness and vision of Jean-Pierre KOHN and his partner, Thierry Cadiou.
Together, they combined their skills and passion for aeronautics to create a company specializing in the development, production and marketing of aircraft - notably the Reims Cessna 406 previously built in Prunay - as well as the integration and installation of mission systems.
To celebrate this decade, ASI AVIATION was pleased to welcome members of the Champagne Ardenne Business Club to its premises on Thursday March 21, 2024. On this occasion, Jérôme Thoule, better known as Schuss, honored us by sharing his background and experience as the 6th technical presenter of the Rafale Solo Display, i.e. the sole pilot. After a career spanning 22 years, he is now a young retiree from the French Air Force.
Finally, to bring the event to a remarkable close, the 200 guests had the privilege of watching two gusts of wind fly over the Reims-Prunay airfield.
Today, as the company reaches this significant milestone, ASI AVIATION would like to express its deepest gratitude. To all those who have contributed to its success, to its employees, customers and partners, THANK YOU.
ASI AVIATION is more determined than ever to pursue its commitment to French aeronautical excellence in the service of the world.

The ASI Group, headquartered in Reims near Paris, is a French group comprising two separate companies:

ASI Innovation, founded in 2010, is a design office specializing in the design, manufacture and certification of mission systems, cabin fittings and avionics installations.
Today, ASI Innovation is one of the few French groups to have obtained, from the highest European aeronautical authorities (EASA), the invaluable “DOA PART 21 J (Design Organisation Approval)” which enables it, with a constant concern for quality and seriousness, to certify to European as well as American authorities, all the tasks involved in the design, development and integration of complex systems on fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft.

In March 2014, ASI Innovation created ASI Aviation, which it owns 100%, with a view to taking over the assets of Reims Aviation Industries.
ASI Aviation specializes in the development, production and marketing of aircraft, including the famous F406 (nearly 80 aircraft worldwide, including several operated as mission, surveillance and maritime patrol aircraft), cabin outfitting, mission systems integration and installation, spare parts production and aircraft maintenance. ASI Aviation thus has the industrial capacity to integrate mission systems designed by ASI Innovation into aircraft.
