ASI-Aviation appointed distributor of Rockwell-Collins avionics products
Rockwell-Collins has appointed ASI-Aviation, a member of the ASI-Group, as a reseller of its avionics product range.
The American company thus recognizes ASI's special competence and sales capabilities, but above all, its ability to provide pre-sales consulting, installation, support and after-sales service to the Rockwell-Collins user community. ASI-Group has designed and certified hundreds of minor and major modifications enabling the installation of Rockwell-Collins products on aircraft ranging from the King Air 90 to the ATR, Embraer, Boeing and Airbus.

“ASI has been working closely with the Rockwell-Collins teams for many years. This appointment recognizes this collaboration and the quality of the technical and commercial services provided by ASI. Our new hangar at Paris-Vatry International Airport enables us to welcome our customers 24/7, and to meet all their needs for scheduled installation, urgent repairs or maintenance on the Rockwell-Collins range, whatever the size of their machines,” says Jean-Pierre Kohn, CEO of ASI.

As of today, ASI is available to Rockwell-Collins users for all scheduled maintenance operations and urgent repairs at either Reims Prunay (LFQA) or Paris-Vatry International (LFOK).

ASI provides aircraft operators of all categories (CS23-CS25 for fixed-wing aircraft and CS27-CS29 for rotary-wing aircraft) with technical teams to define the most appropriate technical solutions for updating avionics suites or installing new systems on their aircraft. ASI carries out integration studies, hardware installation, acceptance testing and final certification of the solutions implemented, offering a global solution which considerably reduces installation times and costs.

The ASI Group, headquartered in Reims near Paris, is a French group comprising two separate companies:
ASI Innovation, founded in 2010, is a design office specializing in the design, manufacture and certification of mission systems, cabin fittings and avionics installations.
Today, ASI Innovation is one of the few French groups to have obtained, from the highest European aeronautical authorities (EASA), the invaluable “DOA PART 21 J (Design Organisation Approval)” which enables it, with a constant concern for quality and seriousness, to certify to European as well as American authorities, all the tasks involved in the design, development and integration of complex systems on fixed- or rotary-wing aircraft.
In March 2014, ASI Innovation created ASI Aviation, in which it holds a 100% stake, with a view to taking over the assets of Reims Aviation Industries.
ASI Aviation specializes in the development, production and marketing of aircraft, including the famous F406 (nearly 80 aircraft worldwide, including several operated as mission, surveillance and maritime patrol aircraft), cabin outfitting, mission systems integration and installation, spare parts production and aircraft maintenance. ASI Aviation thus has the industrial capacity to integrate mission systems designed by ASI Innovation into aircraft.
